Bora Bora Slideshow

Today, I'm with you for writing about a very exciting, fascinating, adorable place: Bora Bora.
Have you ever heard about this island before? Bora Bora is the most beautiful island in French Polynesia.

On wikipedia, It says about it:

"Bora Bora is an island in the Leeward group of the Society Islands of French Polynesia, an overseas territory of France in the Pacific Ocean. The island, located about 230 kilometres (140 mi) northwest of Papeete, is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef. In the center of the island are the remnants of an extinct volcano rising to two peaks, Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu, the highest point at 727 metres (2,385 ft). The original name of the island in the Tahitian languagemight be better rendered as Pora Pora, meaning "First Born"; an early transcription found in 18th- and 19th century accounts, is Bolabolla (or "Bollabolla").  "

More information can be found on wikipedia.

Have you ever been Bora Bora? Unfortunately, I haven't but I hope to travel in the future. Well, in this topic I won't talk much about this wonderful island but I've prepared a slideshow for you which includes the photos of Bora Bora. You can download slideshow.

Everybody has a dream and my dream is to have a vacation on Bora Bora.
If you like bungalows between sea, sand and sun then a must see place for you, too.

New Generation Browser: Google Chrome

It was a long time, that I don't write for Gemedlon. Today, I'd like to start with Google Chrome again. Beginning of the September, Google very innovative firm give us a new browser. It's called Google Chrome. You can find it's official site here. You could download it and try the beta version.

The most exciting thing is it's firefox based browser and if you've used Firefox before, familiarities will be your goal when you use.

On the left side, you see Google Chrome in action. It's easy to use. Also, it's quite user friendly.

A beta version come with lots of special properties. For example, Task Manager. You can find it under the, control the current page --> Developer --> Task Manager menu. Task manager shows all the opening tabs and usage of their memory, network and CPU resources.

A nice article about Task Manager can be found here.

Tım Anderson's ItWriting point out that "a bad day firefox".

My friend Marco Cantu says about Google Chrome and Google strategy in his blog that:

"Truly it might affect Firefox, but to the public at large Mozilla is not a known brand, Google is. So this is more more direct attack to Microsoft, offers a complete alternative to the .NET architecture (with its own JavaScript virtual machine and garbage collector, for example). Plus it will be open source".

I guess, Browser wars is on a new way and percentage of using them will be determine the winner. Now time to use Google Chrome. Let's do it.

Google Sky

At the end, Google has announced the Google Sky. It's really an extraordinary service. In 2005, Google had announced Google Earth. When I saw it first, it putted a spell on me. I examined the Google Earth.exe approximately in one week. Now if you download the new version of Google Earth here, you'll find a new property in it called Google Sky. With this, you can explore the millions of stars, galaxies, nebules and lots of planets. Also it's nice to visit hubble showcases from Google Sky. In my opinion, space is always in the curiosity list of humans.

Let's start with Ocean's 13

First of all, I want to say I'm a fanatic of Ocean's series. I watched Ocean's Eleven and Twelve but liked Eleven much than Twelve. Lots of people agree with me.

In this one, unchangeable trio Danny Ocean (George Clooney), Rusty Ryan (Brad Pitt), Linus Caldwell (Matt Daemon) are with us. and of course Andy Garcia. Also the old and big star Al Pacino is surprised me.

The most reason to be a Ocean's Thirteen fanatic is originality of movie's itself. Some scenes are really well designed. The subject of movie is the same as Eleven and Twelve, but don't worry about it. Because of it's gripping, Ocean's Thirteen is amazing than others.

In the Ocean's Twelve, musics were fascinating. If I say "David Holmes - 29-7-04 The Day of", "David Holmes - 10.35 I Turn Off Camarra 3", "L'Appuntamento", "What R We Stealing" etc. you resound them. All of them become famous rapidly. In the Ocean's Thirteen, musics aren't as exciting and engrossing as Ocean's Twelve. Also somehow, satisfaction of hearing musics in the movie aren't acceptable. Tracks that I like are "Caravan", "Grand Opening", "Earthquake", "Fender Roads", "Snake Eyes", "Zippo's" and "All Sewn Up". Yeah, you can listen more demos at amazon.
